Xiao became very popular when he was spotted on social media looking just exactly like President Obama. Coincidentally, Xiao’s birthday is August 5, a day after President Obama’s birthday. To harness his semblance of the US president, Xiao is taking part in a comedy film in which he plays a supporting role. Xiao says he hopes to gain more fame in entertainment area by imitating Obama.

Xiao, who is originally from Sichuan province in central China, first gained fame after appearing on the TV talent contest ‘Chinese Dream Show’ in 2012. He however got small roles in television dramas and films following his success on the programme.

The ambitious actor only realised he had great potentials after posting a video clip online, which attracted numerous comments about how much he looked like the US president.

Meanwhile, a 14-year-old Muslim boy was recently arrested for bringing a home-made clock to school that teachers mistook for a bomb in Irving, Texas, USA. President Obama has however invited the Muslim boy who was evicted from school because of the clock.
