JUST IN : AMAI YOUTH BEATS UP POLICE OFFICERS ( PHOTOS )

   At  the moment, the Amai- Obiaruku highway is unsafe. This is as a result of the ongoing fight between amai youth and officers from the Special Anti-robbery Squad ( SARS ).

   The incident started when the police officers showed up at the famous Base one bar to harass students and indigenes in search of weed smokers. The situation got out of hand when an UN-harmed indigene was shot in the leg by the police.

    Reacting to the gun shot, the indigenes ganged up to beat up the police officers who tried to run for their lives. After the officers escaped, the angry mob destroyed their police van.
