Akapbio, Celebrities Commend Davido On New Feat (PHOTOS)
Former Akwa Ibom governor, Godswill Akpabio is a
special guest of honour at the 13th convocation ceremony at Babcock
University, today, Sunday June 7.
According to a report by The Netng, Akpabio landed in a private helicopter just in time to witness the presentation of certificate to HKN boss, Davido as the music star was pronounced as graduating with First Class from the private university’s Department of Music.
It was gathered that Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy and his protégé, Reekado Banks were also present at the event to watch Davido graduate as the only one in his department among several students graduating.
Davido
is the pioneer student of the Department of Music. His manager, Kamal
Ajiboye, and producer, Shizzi, are also current students in the
department having followed in the footsteps of the ‘Gobe’ singer. However, they are both set to graduate next year.
Friends and colleagues of Davido have taken turns to congratulate the singer on his new feat.

Runtown wrote, ‘CONGRATS MY NIGGA @davidoofficial,’ on his Instagram as she shared a picture of the singer in his graduating gown.
A member of the HKN Gang, Danagog was one of the first buddies of the OBO star, who took to his social media accounts to congratulate Davido for earning his Bsc.
‘Congratulations my Brother @davidoofficial BSC #GraduateGang #HKNGANG,’ Danagog wrote.
Davido’s producer, Shizzi said: ‘The Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”…I know how tough and challenging it was for you to achieve this bro but in all we thank God that you made it! Congratulations OBO!‘
Report also has it that by 10PM tonight, doors to Davido’s graduation party would open for guests, friends and colleagues to party with the star singer
